The television has lost at least a thousand pages of scripts since I went back online. The radio has lost about a hundred songs. On top of that they have lost the trust of the population. But they are too arrogant to face this reality. They think they can change this by shooting a movie about my life or broadcasting a lie about me. What fools. Above all, the industry has lost the profits my new works will earn when I create them and post them onto paying web sites like i-tunes. One thing at a time. First I have to undo the lies they told about my musicianship by showing that I am capable of performing my songs. I'm just about finished with that. If I ever sign with a label, I expect that it will merely be as a bonus to the fantastic success I will have as an independent artist. The world has changed. The industry doesn't hold as many cards as it used to, now that the internet is here. And new web stars will face all sorts of problems such as those I have experienced and written about. But I am strong enough to blaze a trail for them. Funny how I was asked if I needed to see a psychiatrist 'to deal with my loss'. What loss? I do not grieve any loss of my works, I grieve the lack of justice in a world of stupid stars, arrogant media, dishonest business people, and greedy fucking lawyers. They have behaved shamefully over my case: selling my evidence to each other, going on power trips with it, and depriving its rightful author of justice. Injustice is ultimately everyone's loss. |
