The Patriot

The Patriot
Voice: He was the kind of man who could be trusted with the nation's security.

(The Pentagon.)

President: Did you hear that report about a massive buildup of enemy forces on our border?

Patriot: Yes, that's just a feint. Now is the perfect time to send our troops to Greenland for a vacation.

President: You think so?

Patriot: Absolutely.

President: All right. If you say so. (Exit president.)

Voice: But what they didn't know was that his favorite uncle through his impressionable youth had been a communist.

Patriot: (On phone) Hello, Red One this is Baby Blue. The coast is clear. Repeat: the coast is clear. Do you have the picture of me in the uniform of a communist colonel? Great. Can we make it an action shot? How about me setting fire to the U.S. flag?

Voice: It's cold war drama at its best with the Patriot.
