Nerve Damage

Nerve Damage
(A doctor's office. Enter a patient.)

Patient: Doctor, you must help me. I'm in terrible pain since I twisted my back.

Doctor: Take off your shirt and let me see. (The patient complies, revealing a dark bruise over his spine.) Yes, that looks bad. Could be nerve damage. I'll give you a local. (He takes out a syringe and is about to inject it in the area of the wound.)

Patient: Hey, what are you doing?

Doctor: I'm giving you a local.

Patient: But the pain is in my elbow!
